Sunrider Malaysia was once again a proud co-sponsor of the MRCA Charity Run, held November 18, 2018, at Sky Park One City Mall, Selangor, Malaysia. Themed “Aim for the Best,” this annual charitable event attracted over 2,000 participants, who took part in individual and team events.

Organized by the Malaysia Retailer Chain Association (MCRA), this event aims to promote general welfare by combining workplace health management and social commitment toward the ultimate goal of raising much-needed funds for charitable homes. The Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution bin Ismail, a strong supporter of the event’s cause and a healthy living advocate, had the honor of flagging the start of the run.

With a team of four energetic runners, Sunrider participated in the “Team Run” category, winning the 4th Runner-Up prize. The company also sponsored a booth, where Sunrider staff served Fortune Delight® and SunBars, while taking the opportunity to talk to visitors about the healthful benefits of Sunrider’s naturally wholesome and delicious products.

The staff also invited visitors to “Like” the company’s Facebook page and to participate in a fun game involving cups and ping-pong balls, with winners receiving Sunrider gifts. This game attracted many participants, including a number of VIPs from the MRCA who gamely tested their aiming skills.

The Sunrider logo was prominently displayed on the Start/Finish arch and photo board, and the event garnered widespread media coverage. The closing ceremony included the presentation of checks from the MRCA Branding Education Charity Foundation to eight charitable homes for children and the needy.
