As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact the entire nation, especially people who struggle to make ends meet, the need for food assistance is more important than ever. To help in this fight against hunger, Sunrider has pledged its support to Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization.

Sunrider will donate $1 for each purchase of select Sunrider® products, which currently include SunFit® Protein Plus, SunTrim® Shake, and Top® Focus. Each dollar will provide at least ten meals to children and families in need through Feeding America’s nationwide network of food banks and food pantries.

Feeding America provides meals to more than 40 million people each year and also supports programs that prevent food waste and improve food security among the people they serve. According to the organization’s website, due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, more than 54 million people may experience food insecurity in 2020, including a potential 18 million children.

Sunrider’s Feeding America campaign is planned to continue through September 2020, with additional products being added along the way. The company is actively promoting participation through its Independent Business Owners (IBOs), customers, and employees.
