Sunrider® CEO Featured in Chief Executive on the Power of Speaking Up
Business Press
Sunny Beutler, Sunrider CEO, was recently featured in Chief Executive, a leading publication offering insights and guidance for senior business leaders. In the article titled “Sunrider CEO’s Message to Women in Manufacturing: ‘Speak Up,’” Beutler shared her perspective on leadership, confidence, and the realities women face in male-dominated industries.
Beutler offers a clear message for aspiring women leaders: “Be confident, speak up, and professionally take the lead in conversations if you feel you have something worth sharing. It may often feel like men are dominating conversations, so you will feel like you have to push hard to be heard, but keep on doing it because that’s how you can get your voice heard.”
She also emphasized the power of continuous learning and innovation: “I’m constantly reading, looking, and investigating to see what we can really do to make a positive difference but in a way that is uniquely ours.”
Beutler spoke candidly about balancing a demanding career with family life: “I try to split my time between regions and be available for a few hours each day when they’re awake and in office. I also block out time for my family, keeping dinner hour sacred when I’m in town and to spend meaningful and quality time with my family every evening.”
She encouraged women to take initiative and elevate their voices at work: “I love initiative and innovation and when women are able to raise their voices to express these initiatives or innovative ideas while competently doing their jobs; that’s when I think this person can be a leader.”
Through her experience and guidance, Beutler demonstrates that confidence, competence, and initiative are essential for women aiming to break barriers and lead with impact in manufacturing and beyond.
