Sunrider Malaysia took part in the Malaysia International, Retail, Franchise & Licensing Fair (MIRF) 2017, held this year March 13–16, at the Mid Valley Exhibition Center, Kuala Lumpur. Organized by the Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA), the MIRF 2017 drew more than 250 exhibitors from 10 countries and over 20,000 visitors. Covering franchise, retail, licensing, and e-tailing, it’s the biggest retail showcase of its kind held in Malaysia.

The aims of MIRF 2017 included continuing to support Malaysia as a major retail and franchise hub and seeking potential investors and partners through participation in this fair. It was a must-attend event for retailers and consumers, giving them the opportunity to interact, conduct business, forge new partnerships, and foster cross-border collaboration.

Officiated by the Minister of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism, Dato’ Seri Hamzah bin Zainuddin, it showcased many established retail brands in Malaysia. The fair was endorsed by the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism as well as Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and was supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia.

A conference was organized in conjunction with MIRF 2017 by which renowned speakers from the retail and franchise industry were invited to share their knowledge and vast experience in the fields of entrepreneurship and business, particularly in areas related to retail and franchising.

Sunrider Malaysia used the event as a platform to interact with consumers and show them the key selling points of Sunrider® products. Sunrider staff also had the opportunity to introduce the company to VVIPs (Very Very Important Persons) who visited their booth, such as the Minister of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism, as well as members from MRCA’s council.

During the fair, Sunrider staff served Fortune Delight® and SunBars and conducted impressive demonstrations of SunSmile® Fruit & Vegetable Rinse and Kandesn® Protective Foundation. The sampling and demos opened the way to introduce Sunrider’s exceptional lines of herbal beverages and supplements. The feedback and interest generated from visitors, as well as the distinguished guests, was tremendously positive.
