The 2017 Sunrider Grand Convention was held July 24–29, in Los Angeles and Redondo Beach, California. Hundreds of ABOs and IBOs traveled from around the world to unite and celebrate Sunrider’s “35 Years of Changing Lives” milestone event. The occasion also celebrated Sunrider’s future, which now shines brighter than ever with the launch of compelling new products and a game-changing compensation plan.

Convention week got rolling with tours of Sunrider World Headquarters and the Los Angeles Manufacturing Plant. The tour of the Chen Art Gallery gave attendees the chance to see priceless Chinese antiquities along with a new exhibition of Pablo Picasso's greatest masterpieces in printmaking.

Sunrider’s state-of-the-art manufacturing plant also served as the site for the Product Experience Arena, where attendees sampled an eye-popping range of Sunrider® products—from new shakes and smart gummies to beauty serums and SunBars—tastefully arranged at stations hosted by experienced Sunrider leaders.

All-day training sessions designed for the respective needs of ABOs and IBOs were held at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport Hotel. Speakers included the architect of Sunrider’s new Infinity Compensation Plan, Dan Jensen, founder of his own consulting company and a recognized thought leader in the MLM industry.

The General Session was held at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, described by media as “the Crown Jewel of the South Bay arts scene.” Each member of the Chen family talked on stage about their individual roles in supporting Sunriders and in shaping the future of the company.

As all the attendees hoped for, Dr. Tei-Fu Chen talked about his recently developed products SunTrim™ Shake, SunFit® Protein Plus, Dr. Chen® Youth Serum, Dr. Chen® V3™ Cream, and the convention’s top seller, Smart Gummy™.

General Session included training on the new Marketing Approach Plans (MAPs): the Shake & Tea Party, Slim Down Challenge, and Grow Your Business in 15 Minutes a Day, business activities IBOs can implement on a regular basis to help get more customers, generate more leads, and build a robust organization. Early morning SunFit® workouts, VIP parties and black-tie events, award recognition, Family Reunions, exclusive promo item sales, and much more rounded out an extraordinary event week.

The Grand Convention concluded with a spectacular Gala Evening. A seemingly endless array of amazing entertainment acts included Cirque du Soleil performers, Irish dancing, renowned singers from the Broadway and opera worlds, acclaimed musicians, ballroom dance champions, and more. The dinner that preceded the show and the dance that followed added to the unforgettable experience.
