Recommendations

Add a small amount of water to a pearl-sized amount of Kandesn® Cleansing Foam to activate. Rub until foam forms a rich lather. Apply gently over face. Rinse off with warm water and dry with a clean, cotton cloth. Follow with Kandesn® Balancing Splash and Kandesn® Deep Moisture Lotion.

Why is it important to maintain proper pH balance on the skin?

Your skin is protected by a shield call the pH acid mantle. This is a healthy combination of sweat from the eccrine sudoriferous glands and oil secreted from the sebaceous glands. Skin is slightly acidic (pH5.5–6.5) to protect it from bacteria and pollution, while helping it seal in moisture.

What is the difference between oil-based cleansers and water-based cleansers?

Simply put, oil and water don’t mix and you need both to gently and thoroughly draw out and remove both the oil- and water-based impurities that collect naturally on your face throughout the day. The oil-based cleanser is used to remove oil-based impurities like sebum, makeup, and sunscreen. A water-based cleanser is used to remove waterbased impurities, such as sweat and dirt.
